Buang susu segar ke dalam parit

ADA pekerja ladang mengambil
kesempatan menadah susu dalam gelas dan meminumnya semasa ia dibuang ke
dalam parit di Bandar Muadzam Shah, Pahang.



ROMPIN - Lebih 75,000 liter susu segar keluaran First Dairy Farm (M)
Sdn. Bhd. (Fidaf) di sini yang sepatutnya dihantar ke kilang setiap
hari sejak sejak bulan lalu terpaksa dibuang begitu sahaja ke dalam
parit ladang berkenaan.
Ia jelas satu pembaziran tetapi kepada pengurusan Fidaf, mereka
berbuat demikian untuk membuka mata pihak berkuasa selepas tiga
syarikat pengilang susu enggan membeli hasil ladang syarikat tenusu
terbesar di Semenanjung Malaysia itu atas dakwaan ia mengandungi
bakteria selain desakan harganya diturunkan.

Susu keluaran Fidaf pada masa ini dijual RM2.40 seliter dan
dikatakan mahal sedikit berbanding produk susu import dari Australia
dan New Zealand.
Kesan daripada tindakan itu, Fidaf beroperasi lebih setahun lalu terpaksa menanggung kerugian lebih RM210,000.
Tindakan protes membuang susu ke dalam parit tu mengundang rasa
sedih bukan sahaja kepada Pengarah Urusannya, Datuk Syed Muhd. Alwi
Abdullah tetapi juga para pekerja yang melihat keringat mereka menjadi
sia-sia dan masa depan menjadi samar-samar.
Semalam, Fidaf meneruskan lagi tindakan protes dengan membuang
16,500 liter susu segar ke dalam parit dengan Syed Muhd. Alwi berteriak
bahawa mereka bukan sekadar membuang susu tetapi juga punca rezeki.
Beliau mendakwa pihaknya serta pengeluar susu tempatan lain semakin
tersepit dan tidak lagi dapat menandingi bekalan susu import yang
menguasai 95 peratus pasaran.
